Default Please advise, TomTom 720 Bluetooth issues with the BB 8800!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

trying to pair the TOMTOM 720 with my BB 8800, for some reason my BB finds the TomTom, but unfortunately not the other way around.

Tried to find subjects similar to my situation. If someone had the same issue and solved it or knows how to solve it, please help me out?

Cheers,

DeBeenus

Do you have BB settings to allow it to be discovered? I had no problems linking my 920 with 8830 just last week and updated the phone/contacts just the other day.

Do this in BBerry and see if it works:
Options
Bluetooth
Select TomTom
Full Menu
Options
Discoverable: Set to Yes
Allow Outgoing Calls: Set to Always
Save changes

Your TomTom will be able to find the BBerry

Good luck.

Hi, have just read the problem you had which is similiar to mine so I followed the steps given, everything looks as if its worked perfectly until it comes to copying numbers to the TT, it says it has but it hasn't whats happening, its never done this before, see my post of today as to the error message I'm getting, someone might know what it means.
