Default AOL Resending a large group of old messages

Please Login to Remove!

I have a blackberry 8700c that is accessing one aol email address. I cant figure out why i am receiving a group of random old email messages from November. They will show up at random times and will deliver about 30 emails in a 1 minute period. Please help. I have tried the following steps:

1. Resend Service Book
2. Delete account from BIS and then add it again
3. deleted all the old emails from the blackberry

Thanks in advance.

I call it carrier email vomit. It has happened to me a couple times last summer, but I got 300-400 old mails.

It will stop. It is a rare occurrence.

For now, just sit back and watch it flow in and appreciate the miracle of Push email, lol.

this happened to me last night but only with my yahoo account and not my gmail. i tried everything. what seemed to work though was deleting the email account then battery pull and then add the email account again. i had the same emssages being delivered over and over again and had well over 400 messages about 1-2 a second. no lie. no trouble since then. hope it helps.
