Default 8820 At&T Unlocked No GPS Icons

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

Got my new unlocked 8820 from At&T today. First thing I did was to installed the newest firmware fro AT&T. After all the instalation, I cant find the GPS Icon on the desktop. It is not hidden..Its jst not there......Any ideas...

On my other 8800, wich I already sold......it was on the desktop

I am on ATT with an 8800. No GPS icon, but I do have icons for Telenav, BBMaps and GoogleMaps.

My GPS info is under Options > Advanced Options > GPS but no icon.

Which GPS app? There's no single GPS app for the Blackberry. Do you mean Telenav? You can download any app that you need.

Got it.....fell stupid.just needed to installed blackberry maps

Default blackberry maps

Hello all, where did you get the blackberry maps for att 8820. I could not find them at att site. Any help would be great.
I also do not have gps icon

The newest operating system doesn't have it anymore. I had it on mine with OS 4.2 but when I upgraded to 4.5 it was gone. Download Google Maps or one of the other free ones. They are better anyway. Are you paying a GPS fee? If so make them put something on there for you. If not and you have a dataplan just download one of the free ones.
