I ordered a new oem case for my 8700c and and now I can't talk or hear anything on the phone. If I turn it on speaker phone I can here the call but I can't talk. If the speaker phone is off no sound is heard? Any help on this would be appreciated.

If the case is not blocking the ear phone output I would try a battery pull and see if it clears.

I've pulled the battery, is there a connection at the bottom of the phone by the keyboard for voice that could have come loose, because the earpiece is making connection.

There is a connection at the bottom. Changing the case could cause any trouble. I would SLOWLY remove the case and see if you missed something in the assembly. There are instructions on this in this site.

i am going to guess that after you got the case you made sure the mic and the speaker was in the new case and everything was snaped in around the insde battery area. if not the connectors might not be touching.

Thanks for the help!. I can't believe I left the mic and the earpiece in the old case?! I'm glad I did'nt trash it! haha
