Default BB will not create new backup..? Weird

Please Login to Remove!

For some reason I get this when trying to do a back up. (Note I have just this evening, DL'd newest version of Desktop and BB core apps to restore my BB messenger...which it did.)...however same issue was present prior to Dl.

Not sure what is going on here..??

thank you,

stk

Default Fix found

Here is the fix for this particular problem: (acknowledgment to LavaGirl @ Pinstack.com)

Prior to doing direct backup do this:

Highlight all entries on the the device side except the one that causes the error. In my case it was "phone options"

Using the arrow key transfer manually all those highlighted entries to the left side of the screen. Hit close and you will be prompted to save this as the backup.

Seems this can happen with "Content store" as well - same procedure will work.

Alternative is to wipe and re-install from a previous back-up.

rgds,

stk
