After I had attempted to call out about 4 times and kept getting the signal failure, so I decided to hard reset. Now the phone sits with black screen and, the red light comes on for about 5 seconds, goes off for about a second, then stays on for another 5 seconds and repeats every 10 seconds. recently at&t had flashed the phone over the network and, it did this but after about 20 mins the phone just came on. it had done the same thing again but, while on the hour glass screen it just goes back to the blinking red light.

if the phone is fairly new just bi*ch about it and get it replaced.

If it isnt your OS is hosed then the hardware is hosed.

You might wipe it and reload and be OK but if newer why work that hard?

See post above...if you can return it do so. At first it seemed like a software (os issue) now I am thinking it might hardware if you did the same thing and got a different result.
