Default 8707 no camera can it MMS still?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Just a quick question, can 8707g phones with no cameras still send/recieve mms?

just that we have some with firmware 4.1.0.355 which is at least an upgrade from standard and they just don't have the option to send an MMS.

I would have thought since MMS is sorta old tech that these phones should have the option.

Thanks

ok, can you tell me where it is because when i look on the 8707g the option is not there compared to the 8100

On the 8100 I'm looking where you can create an email and you choose from the menu "compose MMS"

thanks

It's not the 8707. If you don't have it, reason would be carrier does not provision it. See for example http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...tml#post279729. I didn't search on optus, only "8707 mms."

ahh cool thanks..
yeah i thought it would be a provisional so optus did have to fix it... but i didn't think the option would not be there.

Did powercycle the phone but told the person i would come back in 1 hour, was trying to be pro-active in the result

damnit sorry didn't think it would be in a search

thanks anyway
