Default Telephone numeric/alpha key reminder

Please Login to Remove!

Hello -

I've been trying to figure out a way to keep the phone keys in front of me so I can type in names when connected to phone mail systems.

Example: 2=ABC; 3=DEF, 4=GHI, etc.

I thought I was clever and created a Contact I named "Phone Keys" and input all these alpha/numeric groupings from a phone keypad - figuring I could simply bring up the contact while on a call and view the screen to quickly allow me to type in the right number without having to memorize them (I guess I'm lazy..or don't want to use up any more RAM in my cranium.).

NO DEAL...When you're on a call, if you're viewing Contacts on the screen, the number keys don't make phone "tone" noises.

So...has anyone figured out a way to have this info handy for this purpose?

I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Regards,

-Geo

You can just dial the letter.

Example: instead of dialing 3 for the letter D just dial D (by doing ALT D).
