Default 7130 browser will not work.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have a user with a 7130 and the Browser has stopped working. we cannot launch either the blackberry browser or the internet browser. when you click on the icon nothing happens. All other apps work, internet enabled apps work, but neither of those apps are working. I have tried re-loading the OS on the device, and uninstalling and reinstalling the browser from the desktop software. Neither have worked, and i'm out of ideas.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a provisioning problem with his data plan. That or an IT Policy that is locking out his browser access.

it shouldn't be an IT policy, as he's running the same policy as everyone else with a blackberry in our company.

I can check with the data plan, but seeing as all other data related items work, I doubt that's it.

I'm not sure what's wrong with this device. I tried wiping it with the intention of re doing the enterprise activation to see if that would help. it sat with the hour glass spinnning for an hour, so I tried pulling the battery.

Now when I tried to boot it the LED is blinking red really fast, and the hourglass is spinning on the white screen as if it's initializing, but ti's been doing that for over 20 minutes now.
