Hello All,

I'm with Bell Mobility here in Toronto and my 8830 doesn't have an option to send an MMS. Is this because Bell Mobility has disabled it in their OS software? (I'm currently using OS 4.2.2.176)

If so is there a way that I can enable MMS?

I would really like to have the functionality because it would allow me to send MMS' to people who don't have data devices.

Please help! Thanks in advance....

As far as I know, you cannot send MMS on the 8800 series devices due to the fact that there is no camera.

I'm on Bell Mobility as well. I've been a BlackBerry user for quite a while and Bell has never supported MMS on the devices. That is to say, they haven't provisioned the appropriate service book. No idea why not.

I've got the 8800 on T-Mobile and the only way I can send an MMS is to choose from stock template messages pre-loaded on the device. No way to attach a picture, either from internal memory or my microSD card. Email, sure. No problem. But an MMS can only be from an MMS template.

Really? I'm on T-Mobile with 8800 (BES) and can send MMS - choose the blank form and then insert pictures from device memory...don't have a microSD card...

MMS on Sprint/Verizon devices is disabled or not present for the most part, The VZW 8130 has this feature but that is it. GSM carriers stateside support MMS natively on their devices

I guess it's SOL for non camera CDMA BlackBerry's...
