Default See pages on PC with tethered 8820

I have one of our Blackberry 8820s tethered to my pc over bluetooth and it works great. I am just wondering though, I want to be able to use it for demonstrations. What I mean is that the Blackberry is set up through the Blackberry Exchange Server and can see the pages on our Intranet (its a work order system i just recently set up)

So through the Blackberry Browser, I can see the local intranet. When I turn around and tether it to my pc and open up Firefox, I can not type in the same address and have it come up.

I guess my two questions are:
a) if i have a B.E.S. set up at work, are there any other tethering
charges (probably a dumb question, sorry)
b) is there something like a proxy address that I would have to type in seeing as I know all Blackberry traffic is put through RIM first?

Well, AT&T requires you to pay extra for tethering. So watch out for a big bill if you don't have that on your account. Might be the cause of your problem too.

Can't help beyond that.

That's an interesting question. As I understant it, the blackberry device operates behind the firewall, since all communication runs through the BES. But, when you tether, you're connecting to your providers data services, not through the BES. You'll have to use some sort of VPN to make it through the firewall.
