Default phone message notification

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I am new to Blackberry and to this forum. I have had my BB for about a month now. I have a question about notifications.

I found where to change the notifications...under Profiles. I have my regular phone messages set to the LED notification. Is there somewhere to set sounds to repeat every so often? Perhaps a beep or two, say every 15 minutes (just an example) to let yo know you have a phone message?

With the LED blinking, I might check email. Then if by chance I haven't looked at the top to see that VERY LITTLE icon showing you have a message, I miss the message, since after i check my emails, the LED stops blinking. I think this is how it is working.

Thanks.
Susan

There are only two options: activating the LED Indicator feature and through Phone Options > Call Logging - Activate "All Calls"

^^ oh, I guess then I stand corrected.

Since it is not an option, don't try BBALerts, with much more information over in the Aftermarket Software section of this forum.

Ok, having some problems.
I downloaded BBalerts from Handango. Installed via Destop Software. Icon appeared on my phone but would not launch. I was trying the trial software.

Then I saw here it was recommended to download the jad file. I did that. Apparently this cannot be installed from the Destop Software?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Correct, the jad file downloads direct to the BB... use the BB browser to go to that site and download from there, the installation will be fairly simple.

Ok. Now it says that my trial is over. So I tried to go to handango.com through my phone and the only thing that comes up is Handango Inhand. I downloaded that, and I can't find the software BB Alerts.

Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks again,
Susan

mmm, I don't know. If the trial is over, must go to handango on your PC, purchase it, and you should get the license code by email. Then place that in the registration area of BBAlerts.
