Please Login to Remove!
Whenever I try to open my wall street journal icon/shortcut on my 8830 home screen, I get the following error message: Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessExceptio n. Help! How do I solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

First thing to try is pulling the battery for 30 seconds and replace. See if that corrects things.

how did you install the link there? did you try and unintall the shortcut, then reinstall it?

I install the link from the wsj mobile home page. I have uninstalled and re-installed with the same results.

I also have a NY Times Icon/Shortcut on my home screen. It works fine. Also, I
tried installing the WSJ icon/shortcut on a friend's 8830; it worked.
