Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Loses Data Connectivity 1X

I am experiencing data connectivity problems with the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition from Verizon Wireless.
My first (I am now on number 3) lost data connectivity completely and it could not be restored. I worked with Verizon Wireless technical support - we removed the battery and wiped the handheld with no success. 1X would not appear xxx8211; only 1x.
My second lost data connectivity intermittently during the day. A power reset would restore connectivity. The problem is xxx8211; unless youxxx8217;re constantly looking for loss of connectivity, you donxxx8217;t realize that youxxx8217;re not receiving data.
Letxxx8217;s hope that the third time's the charmxxx8230;
how is your signal strength? do other EVDO devices in the area drop connection? also have you tried to upgrade the OS on the device? i know it sounds strange but I have had a device with low/no radio coverage go back to normal after upgrading the software
I do experience this loss of data with VZW 8830 also, I get stuck with the 1x symbol. I end up having to pull the battery and put it back then everything is fine.
It isn't an everyday thing but it does happen a few times a week, maybe 3 or so.
If I do watch my signal I typically drop to 1 bar then back to 3 spontaneously threw the day.
It haven't got totally fed up with it yet but is annoying.
I have though I might be overloading the connection, since I got 3 email accounts linked to my BlackBerry, as well about 12 channels in Viigo and JiveTalk running all at the same time. lol
