Default 2 Lines on 8830?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all
I am new to this forum. Just got an 8830 from Sprint, my first Blackberry comming from a Sony Ericsson P990i.
My question; Is there a way to have 2 lines on the 8830 since it has CDMA & GSM so I can use one line for business and one for personal use? or is there a way to to use the GSM portion of it here in the USA?

Welcome to the forums.

No, you cannot have 2 simultaneous lines of service on the Sprint 8830.

interesting but I cannot find a reason to have two lines on my BB. 9.95 a month isnt too bad if you need it though.

Yeah, I believe talkplus is your best bet. I dont see the use for this personally. However a user asked me this same questions a few weeks ago.
