Default Is using a V3 razr car charger a Good Idea?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all,
I just wanna say that i love reading everything that these forums have to offer. I just have a fast question for your pro's out there. I have a motorola v3 razr and have a OEM motorola car charger for it. It seems to charge my 7100r, but i don't want to damage the battery or the device. Will it be ok to use the same charger for both?

Thanks,
Rob

I believe it should work, because the RAZR is charged via USB, and USB has a standard voltage and current, BUT i am not 100%.

It is fine. In fact, I have been using the V3 car charger since the day I got my 7290 and V3

I'm using the v3 wall charger just fine, but my moto car charger doesn't hold properly....

so this is a bit off topic, slightly, but for those of you who have a moto v3 razr, can you charge your v3 using the blackberry wall charger?

Actually not off topic. USB provides the same voltage. If the connection at the mini-USB tip is the same (which is not necessaryly the case, look at Bluespoon) it will work fine.

I have a 7250 and V3 as well. My V3 charger will charge both devices, but the charger that came with my 7250 will only charge the 7250 and not my V3. I bought a Motorola V3 car charger and it does both devices as well. odd huh?
