Exclamation Found a Blackberry 7230, faulty?

Please Login to Remove!

I found a blackberry 7230. It loads up fine, however when I turn the scroll wheel to a certain point, it just switches off by itself and the red notification led lights up.

It connects fine to the network etc...

Is there a short circuit or something in the scroll wheel?

Thanks

It's possible there is a fault in the scrollwheel.

If you found it outdoors, it may just be wet. Use a torx driver to take the screws out and gently remove the outer case. Allow the unit to dry for a few days. Make sure you remove the battery first!
