Default Blackberry 7250 (any?) - Display on computer desktop?

Please Login to Remove!

I hope this has not been already posted somewhere... I was not even sure what to look for. I've purchased a couple Blackberries and plan to demo the BES software. Once I have everything set up, I want to do a demo for some of the people at the company.

Is there a way to display the Blackberry screen on a computer desktop? I want to use the projector attached to the computer for the presentation. So far, I've only found the software for smartphones and windows mobile devices.

Anyone have something for the Blackberry?

Thanks,
Joe

Wirelessly posted (7250: BlackBerry7250/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

I know the software developers kit RIM offers includes a PC based BB emulator. But that's an expensive option for a demo.

I would suggest contacting your carrier or RIM. Perhaps they have a powerpoint presentation which you could use that would better demonstrate how the technology works?

use the device simulator in the jdk. I used it to create slides like the attached and a flash elearning program. you can make it do basically anything that you would see on your bb--even apps. there are a few things that get difficult, but for the most part it is great and easy. you can even change the model type

When you are posting, use the advanced feature on the bottom of the reply window, If you scroll down you will see a section that says Manage your attachments, if you click on the button a window opens up that lets you browse for your attachment and then after you choose it select upload. That will include your attachment in your reply.

The simulator looks interesting but I don't think it will do everything I need. I wanted to browse a particular website, demo the IM application I've tested, and do some "live" demos. I suppose I was just too spoiled by the damn Microsoft application. It did exactly what I needed. I just hoped there was one for the Blackberry...

Here's the Windows Mobile one just so everyone knows what I'm talking about:

There's nothing like that for the BlackBerry yet.
