Question Loading JAD files from Desktop

My turn to ask for some help. How do you load /jad files from the desktop? 73

You don't.
.jad files are hosted on a web server and delivered over the air to the device.

I am aware of that. However, I have been trying to do an OTA of some software and my BB browser keeps generating a server error. I tried the url from my desktop and there was no problem connecting. I had thought that there was a program that converts the jad into an alx file. . 73

Then why didn't you just ask that?
HOWTO: Manually convert .jad/.jar to .cod if you cant do OTA
