In Messages view, I have a bunch of old emails (Nov 30 last year and older) that have been deleted from my desktop, but are still on my bb. I can't delete them at all. I've tried marking as saved, then viewing saved messages and deleting from there with no luck. Wireless reconciliation works fine for newer messages, where deleting on desktop deletes from bb and vice versa.

settings:
Wireless reconciliation set to ON
Delete on Mailbox and Handheld
On conflict, Mailbox wins

I've tried a battery pull, manually choosing "reconcile now" from menu, changing the time to keep messages to 30 days.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get these old messages off my bb? Thank you!

Nevermind. Found a solution. Connected bb to desktop, opened desktop manager - backup and restore - advanced. Then I cleared all the messages from device window, then highlighted messages in desktop window and moved back to device window. The old messages reappeared, but I was now able to delete them.
