Default Need advice on sprint 8830 problems...

Ok. I've gotten an 8830 from sprint just very recently. Before that, I had a trial tmobile 8320 and loved it. All 4 email accounts *never* had a problem, even during the BB outage.

Now, I got 12 emails in a row, some 5 minutes late (not bad) and some 6/7 hours late (very bad). I need this in a work environment and don't know why there's such a lag??? Any reason why these gmail/app accounts work perfectly under tmobile but not sprint? I've had my account recreated/resetup at least 4 times, data reprovisioned...

Help! I just don't know what else to do!

Looks like you missed this thread...
BIS Outage 02/20

If you're experiencing long delays outside of today's outage... then you might want to check the following:
Stability of your mail server(s) that you're retrieving messages from.
Quality of data coverage on the areas your are frequently in.

If "immediate" message delivery is critical for your work, then you should be looking at a BES solution... not BIS.

I am also on Sprint and have been experiencing issues as well today. I attribute it all to the issues described in the link that Penguin posted above.

So am I just caught in the "unusual" firestorm of downtime from RIM on sprint? Should I just sit tight for 3 more weeks and make a decision? I've been loyal to sprint (for the most part, I get to play with my other business line a bit so I've tried almost everyone else) but this is killer! I guess when it comes down to it, is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

And if this still keeps up for the next 2/3 weeks, what else could it be? Hardware? Software? What else could I possibly do? Should I just get an "older" blackberry from sprint?

The issues is not hardware related - if anything it would be BIS related (either RIM or Sprint).

I would hang tight since I have had very reliable BIS service from Sprint up until today....
