Default Deleting FORWARD appointments

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8830 Sprint BB that got some 2500+ calendar appointments synced to it thru miscues with scheduleworld and I need to delete a TON of future calendar appointments. Example would be 30 entries for Christmas 2009.
What I want to do is just delete any appoint that is scheduled more than 1 year ahead. Problem is that right now the BB IS the definitive source for my calendar and I can't synchronize until I get the calendar entry count to something manageable. Deleting each duplicate is a royal PAIN.

Is there a way to select and do multiple deletes or delete from this point forward? I tried multiple selecting entries but when I hit the delete key or select delete from the menu it just deletes the first entry.

I tried searching the forums here and google but I didn't get anything.
any help would be appreciated.
