All of a sudden, syncing my BB got very slow. I recently installed the new Tmo update. It goes through everything at the normal speed, but once it's done with the address book, contacts, and add ins (I use Cryptmagix), it sits at the "one moment please" box for about 10 minutes, without the progress bars changing. Any ideas?

Other than reloading the handheld software, make sure that you have enough signal strength..

It's not a wireless sync, so signal strength shouldn't effect it. I guess I could reload the handheld software, but it was such a pain to restore everything after the update I may just deal with it. Any other ideas?

Just backup your device through desktop manager -> Backup/Restore, just click the backup button to backup everything on the device so once the handheled software is loaded again you can just click the restore button to reload your settings. The only thing that you will need to reload is images, sounds, etc.

I know that after your BB sync's it goes back through and organizes/rebuilds the address books, contacts, and the calender. This can take a long time and you probably have a lot of contacts or calender events. Just be patient and let it finish.
