Downgrading from OS 4.2.1.114
 

I recently upgraded to OS 4.2.1 on my 8700. This is the 3rd time I have tried to get this OS to work properly in the browser. Any page that is accessed by the browser that is running scripts hangs up.

I have tried to downgrade back to OS 4.1 which was working perfectly but i am unable. Even though I installed the older software, the applications manager does't see it and won't load it up. WHen I check device software in About desktop manager it shows 3 versions of the software, 4.1 and 2 versions of 4.2

Any help with getting the OS system to work normally or to downgrade would be greatly appreciated.

Use Control Panel >Add/Remove Programs to uninstall all newer OS versions than the one you want. Then it will downgrade you.
