I purchased my first blackberry, 8700g from t mobile 4 months ago. (I am a t mobile customer) Next week i will be flying to Singapore and will be using their sim card on my blackberry.

The problem now is, i already have my Unlock codes from T mobile. However, when i followed the process of unlocking it,

Option --> Advanced Options --> Sim Card --> type mepd --> HOLD ALT AND ENTER MEPE then a box will appear to enter the unlock code

at my last step, hold ALT and enter MEPE NOTHING APPEARS at all. Has anyone got the same PROBLEM as me??? PLS HELP GUYS i really need to unlock my phone to be able to use it in Singapore.

Yes sir i did! After i typed MEPD, it says NETWORK DISABLED. I've read that it means the phone is already been unlocked. However when i tried using other carrier sim card on the blackberry it still doesn't work!

Now when i go hold alt and type MEPE, nothing appears on the screen at all! It was supposed to appear a box which allows me to enter the NETWORK MEP CODE.

When you put in another SIM card, exactly what happens? What is displayed on the screen?

Network - Disabled means the phone is unlocked. Period.
