Pc wont recognize my 8830

Default Pc wont recognize my 8830

I've tried 3 different USB cords and i have the latest Desktop Manager software. Connects via bluetooth fine but to use media manager I need USB. I'm not sure if its the port on my BB cause the charging indicator comes on just fine and it charges good. Does this sound familiar, I could really use some help here....thanks.

By saying the latest Desktop Manager, that would be v4.3, correct?
There have been many posts of problems with v4.3. You may want to try uninstalling v4.3 and downloading and installing Desktop Manager v4.2, SP2.

try another computer it might be you USB port on or try another USB port you should have more one there. also i would try and reinstall the desktop mgr. what O/S are you using

i have vista...all usb peripherals except my 8830 work on all USB ports on here...i dont know whats going on...

Maybe try pulling the battery, then plug into pc with usb, then pop battery back in to reboot..??
