Today, I noticed that all of a sudden, my entire call history, my SMS messages and my e-mail were GONE. Have no idea how it happened. Than, about two hours later, while i was writing an SMS.. the screen blinked, turned white, and once again, the call logs, SMS and e-mails that accumulated during those 2 hrs were gone. I did a battery pull and its been behaving well so far, but has every something like this happened to anyone? What could have caused it?

Thanks

I think this is caused by running out of memory or something like that. Do a search. You should find some threads about it.

Thanks for the input. I always try to keep at least 3mb of free space on the device, hence i dont keep any ring tones or pics.. i just check the status and its up to 4 mb.. so maybe that was the problem.

Thanks again,

I am afraid at that level your problems will persist. You really should consider review the link and freeing some space.

Good Luck!

I did check the link. Have no extra language installed, I keep appts for 60 days, have no ring tones and pics and still only 4 mb of memory with only 1 sms and 3 phone calls in the log.Too many programs i guess I think it might be time for an upgrade to 8300, even though i love the 8700.
