Default Firmware Update

Please Login to Remove!

I serched on how to update the firmware, but everything points to the blackberryfaq, which is down. Can someone please tell me how to update the firmware on the Sprint 8830? Thanks.

Download the current os to computer. Run the program on the pc. After that is completed open up desktop manager and it should pick up the updated software

And, for your 8700, look at the top of this 8700 forum section, to theh Sticky Note titled "Latest 8700..." That is the latest OS and instructions in that thread. You posted in the 88xx section, so if that is the model... same deal, 8800 section, etc.

Also, all the BlackberryFAQ topics are still in Google's cache so do a simple google search for the specific Blackberryfaq and click on "cached."

Hopefully, we'll get the faq back soon.
