Default Simple way to copy "normal" phone book to SIM phone book

I am not in immediate need of this but was curious if there were a way to copy my bb phone contacts (what I term normal phone book) to the sim card in my 8830we from Verizon.

Can the sim phonebook be copied/synced with Outlook?

Any other clues/issues with sim phone books?

Oh, one other slightly different topic but sim related - if one gets a foreign sim card (mine now has the verizon one and it supposedly UNlocked), does one wind up with a new/different phone number? Does the verizon sim card use my same phone number???

I THINK SO (you have me doubting....)

I have the 8830WE (world edition) and it can go traveling (and it probably will go alone since the $$/Euro exchange makes it unlikely that I can afford to accompany my phone).

It has a sim card option that allows service on the "other" network/frequency but ONLY outside of North America. If I understand - the frequencies used in NA cannot be accessed by the sim card - but it can be used elsewhere.

The thing is tiny and slips in behind the battery - I think it is even smaller than the SD card. I got it with my phone and watched it quickly inserted. That about ends my knowledge (G)

Yes, the 8830 has a sim card for international use. It's actually a little bigger than the SD card.

The sim card will only hold one phone number per name and nothing more. I don't recommend it except as an emergency backup of certain phone numbers in case you need to move the sim temporarily into another regular phone.
