I keep getting this error message (java.lang.nullpointerexception) on my device (BB 7250). The resoulution from the Blackberry website said to enable advanced logging for Intellisync. then isolate the corrupt data entry, delete it from the desktop email client and the device. I could not find the advanced logging for intellisync.

The workaround from the website is to delete the entire address book from both the email client and device. This i did, but still recive the same error message.
1) How do i enable the advanced logging for intellisync?
2) Is there a different, or better way to solve the problem?

I read about this somewhere, it has to do with either your SIM card or a recently installed program (app) causing an icon conflict. First time i've heard of Intellisync having anything to do with it. The end result is a clean OS install to get rid of it completely.
