Email doesn't sync.

Redirector requires you to have your PC on and connected to get your email. A better option, IMHO, if your company allows, is to use BIS for email or to forward your email to yahoo or gmail.

Do you have a BB dataplan?

Are you receiving email at all?

As I said, email does not sync. You should be receiving new email that comes in if you have it all set up properly. There can be up to a 15 minute delay on BIS. I don't know what sort of delay there is with Redirector.

If your company is using MS Exchange then it would be worthwile looking at either BES or BPS (BlackBerry Professional Software). How many BlackBerry users are there within your company? If you are the only one then BPS is available free with one client license.

If BES/BPS is not an option then using the BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) is probably a better option than using the Redirector. The two biggest drawbacks to the Redirector (in my opinion) are:

1) no attachment support
2) your PC must remain turned on and connected to your Exchange Mailbox and to the Internet in order for you to receive your emails

If the Redirector is your only option then in order for you to begin receiving your emails you must configure the redirector to connect to you Exchange Mailbox.

As Dubdub has mentioned this is normal. Emails will only sync to the device wirelessly. It should be noted as well that past messages will not be sent out to the device. Only new messages will be pushed out to your BlackBerry.
