Default SIM SMS Inbox full...

Please Login to Remove!

Hello-

After using my 7100t for a while, I began to notice "SMS SIM Full" messages. It wasn't until a while later I took my SIM card out and put it into my old E105 to compare something, and I noticed the Inbox was filled with dozens of messages like:

WV11NM11
SI=1.1AyK3985

and

WV11DM4bb later!

This appears to have something to do with Wireless Village, which is related to the IM client.

Is this a bug?

It does sound like a bit of a bug if the client isn't clearing out all the smses it uses, are you saving your sms messages onto the sim or the blackberry in sms options, if its the latter and you are still getting those messages then it would be potentially more serious.

I set it to "Yes" at the same time everything was finally provisioned and I was able to connect with the IM client.

Options->SMS->Leave messages on SIM card: Yes/No

I set it to "No" and I'll use the IM client a bit to see if it stops.

I get those from time to time if I have been using the IM client on the 7100.... they appear in the regular message queue though.
