Default How To Remove Phone Number From Verizon Berry

Please Login to Remove!

I am not sure if this is addressed anywhere but what i am looking to find out is a way that i can totaly remove my phone number from my Verizon 8703E. I I have two old units that i want to get rid of but i don't want to sell them with my phone number still showing. I tried wiping the unit also think i tried JL cmmander's low level wipe but once the OS was reloaded it still should my old number assinged to it.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you remove the HH OS with Jl_Cmder and the device is no longer registered on Verizon's network when it comes back up after reloading the OS it should not have the number.

Is the device still registered with VZW?

Yup i have removed the OS with JL_cmder. The phone number is no longer registered to this particular device but even after the JL wipe and OS reload when you go into the phone portion it still shows the number that use to be assinged to it
