Can any body help. I got a 7230 from a friend and I set it up with the proper service according to the service provider. the browser did not come in. so they tried to force it and it still wasnt there. they tried for an hour. does anyone have suggestion.

Im using 7290, had an issue like yours. did an extensive searches, looking all the threads. Finally i got the browser back!! Here's how:

Assuming you already did try everything (e.g went on to BlackBerryFAQ as MrKyoo replied) and if the browser is still missing -- Just download and install the latest Desktop Manager for your series and try so a SYNC (the latest device software for your model) with the your INTERNET CONNECTION ACTIVE. If you are on a plan with the a spcific carrier try to download software from that carrier. Good Luck!!
