my 8703e isn't opening adobe files. how can i fix this?

From email attachment, or from web page? You should be able to open pdf email attachment with no problem; but pdf's cannot be downloaded and opened from web pages. Depending on your needs, you may want to look at aftermarket software. I'll defer to others on that.

i'm talking about from webpages. is there anyway to save a link and send it in an email attachment?

You should be able to either able to highlight the link, bring up the menu, and select send link address, or hightlight the link and use a keyboard shortcut to bring up the link address and select send link.

For what it is worth, on my 8700 the keyboard shortcut is L. (P is page.)

My 8700c views pdf's as email attachments... just highlight "attachment" in the email then Open Attachment... Kind of grainy but depends on the resolution of the original I guess... Never tired viewing one from an online source yet...

octavito, Yes, you can email them to your BB for viewing.

BeamBerry gives great PDF viewing ability... get the free trial.

how about on the newest BB ? can you play videos from the memory card and view files just like a pc .... files like word pdf and such

Yes, routine files like word docs, xls spreadsheets, pdf files, etc., and videos.

There are many threads here detailing the upgraded OS 4.5.

I don't know the percentages. No idea.

If you follow the instructions exactly as posted, it is unlikely.

But the 8700 STILL does not have a media card, so you can go throwing a bunch of file in the device memory anyway.

how do i open a pdf file from my memory card on a curve? (im using 4.5 beta os), i cant browse the card to find it i have bb attachment installed. i just wanna read my pdf course material
