Default Desktop Manager - 4.3 Crashes

Please Login to Remove!

Running Outlook 2007 and Google calendar sync program with my 8830. Just got off a bes server so this is a brand new install. Desktop manager crashes during sync at record 184 of the Outlook calendar.

Any ideas? I have done the usual, reset, repair, uninstall, reinstall, deleted contacts in Outlook as well. Anyway to track down record 184?

Since you were on a BES previously, did you remove the IT Policies?

After you remove them, download and install DM 4.2 SP 2 rather than 4.3.

Default IT policies

I was told the IT policies were wiped out when I wiped the device. Is that incorrect?

I was having this problem some time ago. I went to view sync log file and tried to identify the specific contact that was causing the problem. I deleted it in Outlook and set up a new contact for it. Then I ran the sync without a problem. Hope it helps.

Default Calendar

Seems to be a calendar issue. I deleted the last calendar entires prior to the crash and it just crashed at the next calendar event. Anyway to erase entire Calendar in Outlook?

I don't think wiping alone will remove the IT Policies. Check the FAQ: Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

IT Policies are now gone, but still having the same problem.

I agree with Dubdub, uninstall DM 4.3 and install 4.2 (SP2).

If that does not do it, in Outlook: Calendar>View>Current View>All Appointments and you will see all of the reminders and can do what you like with them.

I installed 4.2 and now just getting a error as soon as I try to sync.
