Maybe ive already looked at it but missed it.

Are there any desktop programs to where i can manage my calender and phone book from my desktop. Seems everything i download is for the business applications.

Outlook Express does not have a Calendar.

There are several desktop personal information managers that you can use to manage your calendar, contacts, notes and tasks. You then sync the BlackBerry via Desktop Manager's Intellisync.
