I have a new 8830 and my wife has a new 8130 (Pearl). The 8130 seems to have more/updated features, including better Google calendar support and Youtube support.

Does anyone know if/when the 8830 firmware will be updated to be on par with it's little sister?

I believe the 8130 ships with software 4.3. We should get it for the rest of the berrys in the next month or two. Hopefully.

It is a shame that while the rest of the community awaits 4.3 I can't wait for 4.5 for the pearl.

according to latest info, 87xx+ will go right to 4.5, do not pass 4.3, do not collect your govt reimbursment check
