Have you tried the b.b. version of VNC from http://sourceforge.com ?
I've found that it works well for me.

Not yet....I have a few user boxes that use VNC but most of my boxes are 2000, XP, or 2003 OS and I would like to remotely connect to them....At home I can VPN into my network and administrator any user/server box on the network and when I travel VPN works well too... but I may have a couple instances that would be great to do this administration over BB

I understand. I also have to work remotely at times. VNC (if you don't already know this) is completely free for desktops too. And they have a "remote install" feature now. For a free solution that works, it would be worth looking into.

How did you get VNC to work well? I tried it on a few occasions on my 7100t, and it took about 10 mins to display a tiny portion of the remote desktop. I switched it off after this as it was just unusable.

Cheers

Funnily enough mate...I read that one just before this, and I am going to give remote desktop a go. I was just wondering how AboutBlackBerry got VNC running well.

Cheers

Wait, the BB can run a VPN so the VNC can get through a firewall? Or did I read that wrong? What VPN capability does the BB have if one is not using BES?

Well...I've just had a quick play with remote desktop, and I am impressed...I'll definitely be getting the full version of this, and at $30, it's a steal

Cheers

I have tried to make VNC work on my 7250 to no avail after a week of trying I finally unistalled it. It may be because it is a free piece of software. Looking into some of the apps for sale there are several.

Remote Desktop Mobile (www.zzzsoftware.com) works great and for a little price tag.
