Default Two 7230 questions

First what does the little exclamation point to the left of the successful message sent icon mean (I'm guessing it's a high priority symbol to the recepient)
Second, about once every 2-3 weeks (that I notice) the screen goes blank except for the rotating hourglass for about a minute, it then flashes something about security and then it goes back to normal. No button I push does anything when the hourglass icon is rotating on the screen. Is this some type of update or syncing operation going on?

The hourglass is a reboot. It is not a normal occurance.

You should investigate reloading the handheld operating system onto your BB.

Another thing I see that can cause issues is a corrupt database in the phone.

To fix that you can run a backup of the phone and then restore it back into the phone.

I had a 7230 a few years ago that would reboot for no reason. T-Mobile deemed it faulty and replaced it.
