Smile BB 7290 problems creating a BIS acct- need PIN # release

Question
I just purchased a blackberry 7290 T-mobile- refurbished. I signed up for rogers voice and data plan but can't get the BB to work.
I went on the Rogers BIS service to enter the PIN # and it says the account is in use.
This is a GSM unlocked phone.
Any ideas?
Pls help
( I am in Toronto)

I am surprised that no one responded or commented on my question.
I had to beg T-Mobile to release the Pin # on my blackberry. Only the cell phone carrier can release the PIN # not even Blackberry RIM can do it.

Lesson learned. I should report this Ebay seller.

Although, I am happy it is now working thanks to T-Mobile.

You only posted this question 10 minutes ago. How fast should your questions be answered?

This is a common problem with used BB's. We talk about it in the information we have about purchasing a used BB on eBay.
