Hello all - another NEWBIE here.
I have a problem (or so I have been told...
My company has issued a new BBerry 7250 and I have a continuing problem of it shuting the wireless portion off all the time. I have checked the auto feature and it is not enabled - but I even set a time/day schedule that would leave it on for 23 hours and still it keeps shuting down. Signal strength is good (at least 4 bars) I have the big 1X displayed. This causes me to miss calls and mail which is a real problem. Our company tech guys have NO CLUE and i even went to VERIZON to see if they had info - nothing. In a nutshell, the wireless turns itself off - on its own - usually within a few minutes after turning it back on manually.
Another matter is when i plug in the charger (car or travel) i don't always get a charge indicator on the screen. I have taken the battery in/out as a reset and that clears it for just a bit but then when I plug in later its the same issue. When the unit/battery is fully charged, does the indicator on the screen go away?
Any help on these ? Or am i at the mercy of our "tech" departments inability to know what the devices they issue are all about?
