Have been through various issues since getting my 7100T in November of 2004. OS upgrades have mostly fixed things (total setup reboot at power on, speaker problems) but the latest version 4.0.2.32 is not without problems, at least for me. I have one entry in my address book that I am unable to edit. I get what looks live a java error message "Uncaught exception: invalid text" any time I try to edit this address. I have deleted and resynced my address book in the 7100T but the issue will not go away. Another quirk started recently, the 7100T turns off and restarts itself with no action on my part. Otherwise I'm happy with the 7100T, would like to clear up these issues though. If anyone's dealt with the above error message I'd love to hear of a solution. Thanks

First I would completly un-install all handheld applications and data and then re-install the OS and restore your backup file, that should correct the power-cycle glitch..
As for the address book if the above doesn't correct that; I've never seen that error but I did find a thread suggesting what I just did...

Experiencing this issue with only certain Address Book contacts -- and only since upgrading to v. 4.0.2.32. This is yet another issue which makes me long for a Treo. Though I always get flamed for saying this, Blackberry = nothing but problems. T-Mobile (my carrier) has yet to release a system update that does not present MAJOR problems for the user.

Is it just bad programming or bad hardware???? I actually don't care and would just like my Blackberry to work as advertised. I am thoroughly OVER RIM!!!!
