Default 8830 freezes when making call

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8830 World Edition v4.2.2.66 & Verizon is my carrier.

Sometimes, I'll make a call and the phone just freezes. If I force it to shut down, the call finally goes through and I've got about 60 seconds on the connection before the phone completely shuts down and the call terminates. Is this happening to anyone else?

It used to happen if you were making a call at the same time a call was coming through. A battery pull was needed to unlock the BB.

The frequency of the problem I'm having suggests that it is not happening during an incoming call. Occasionally, I have had to pull the battery, but usually a hard shut down does the trick.
