Default Transferring Email from old blackberry - 04-18-2008, 07:00 PM

Hi, I just bought a used 8830 with a previous owner, and I owned a 7130 E
I want to put my email address on the one I just bought
Is this possible if so how?

Welcome to the forums.

Sounds like you don't have your 7130e anymore....did you make a full backup of it before you got rid of it? If you did the backup, you could connect your new BB to your PC and use Desktop Manager to do an Advanced Restore of the Address Book (from the backup file).

Or, do you have your contacts in Outlook? Even better...use Desktop Manager to sync your new device and it will copy over your contacts to the new device.

Not sure what OP is asking. Move email messages? Move contact email addresses? Or have email come to the new blackberry instead of the old?

I'm guessing the question is the last one. If that's the case, and blackberry is on BIS, I would log in to carrier's BIS portal and change the PIN, etc.

If it is either of the first two, then what juwaack68 said, restore from backup (if there is one).
