Default not getting all my email on BB

Please Login to Remove!

I have 2 email accounts both BIS. I am not getting all the emails sent to me on one account. Example, during a meeting this morning I was waiting on a very important email. It didn't arrive. But, when I got back to my office and checked my email through outlook 5 emails had arrived during my meeting - including the one I needed. But they never made it to my Blackberry. Not even after leaving the meeting.

I set my profile to vibrate during the meeting. Does that have anything to do with it.

Well thanks for the link, but I do leave a copy on the server or 5 days. But, in this case, the email was delivered at 10:30 am. I didn't get to my office until after 12 noon to download it. Outlook was not running.

It could be a problem with the account, who is your email provider.

It's through my personal domain. It's not a yahoo account or gmail. I do get some, just seems to be the odd one or two here or there.

It could be a fluke right now, kinda hard to say. I get it every once and a while with my work email. I know at least where I live in NJ I was having some problems with email and Verizon said everything was good on their end.

hmm, ok. I'll keep an eye on it. I probably wouldn't have even noticed if not for the fact that I really needed that email during the meeting.

If it comes down to it, you can foward your email to your BB email address for instant email.

I forward both of my gmail acconts to my @vzw.blackberry.net email address. I was frustrated only receiving 2 out of every 5 emails.

Interesting. That seems to be close to my ratio. I don't use the blackberry email address. In fact, I don't even know if I set one up. Where can I find the steps to do that?

I'll give it a try. It might be worth it at this point.

You don't want to forward your gmail to a blackberry.net address, I don't know why anyone would do that.

Kim, who is hosting the 2 domains, GoDaddy, by chance? Are they IMAP accounts?

So you receive all of your emails! I don't see a down side, since I wasn't receiving before, and now I am.

If you aren't receiving them all, there is a glitch somewhere that needs to be corrected.

When I got the phone on April 4th thru the 14th it worked fine. Then it was down hill from there. Nothing has changed, except I stop receiving all of the emails.

Then you probably should focus on getting that corrected.

Are you on a GoDaddy or IMAP server? The other user never answered that question.

I can't correct something when I have exhausted the possible fixes I have found. I spent 4 days trying different things: remove the battery for 30 second, send the service books, delete the email account and set it up again. None of my configurations have changed, so the emails shouldn't of stopped unless there is a problem somewhere else. Unless there is some secret fix out there.

And I guess you aren't going to answer the question, either.

There may be a problem somewhere else, and if you know where to look, it helps.

The two accounts are Gmail as I stated before (post #9). If you know where to look I am all ears!

You are the first on GMail I have heard of this issue of NOT receiving mail. Completely skipping certain emails?

I guess at this point you don't even have the Gmail on the BIS site (other than forwarded to your @blackberry.net address)?

Since we have been talking I have reset my gmail forwarding to OFF and setup my gmail accounts throught the BIS and sent the service books. If we are going to try and fix it, then I figured it should be setup as much as possible.
