Default Email - HTML View

Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie here, and let me also tell you that this site is a wealth of information. I just got a BB 8830 through VZW w/data plan and so far so good. Ok, so now to my question, I was able to set up an email account (Gmail) through blackberry and i'm receiving messages, but the issue seems to be that I cannot view any emails in HTML format (Even the one's that are received in HTML format), they are all just text. I downloaded the Gmail App for BB and even in there, it's just all text, no HTML view. Is there any settings that I am overlooking or any other info on this would be greatly apperciated. Thanks!

Rim email is text only. You will need either BBSmart or Empower email viewer. Check the fAQs here for that specific subject.
