Hello

My BB8300 is locked....I forgot the password of my BB8300 and it is blocked, I can not make calls..

welcome to the forums.
if you cant remember your password, then put it in incorrectly 10 times, and this will wipe the device. all your data will be gone but you will have a working device. Also you have Cingular/AT&T with the 8830? or did you mean 8310? or do you have Sprint/Verizon

AT&T does not carry the 8830. DO you mean the 8300 series?

AT&T carries the 8300, 8310, 8100, 8110, 8120, 8800, and 8820 devices (in recent memory anyway) 8830 is a CDMA device

The 8830 is a CDMA device that also is a GSM device as it holds a SIM card. So it is a dual device!
