Last month I replaced my 8830 battery with a new battery from seidio. The first day I put the new battery in, fully charged it and things were great. I was able to use the phone the entire weekend without charging it. After the first week I noticed my battery life is poor again. The battery lasts one day without much use. I notice when I fully charge my battery to 100% and wake up the next morning it's already at 75 - 80% without touching it all night. I verified no additional programs are running in the background. Does anyone know what the problem is? Faulty battery possibly?

Were you getting poor battery life with your OEM battery? If not as Seidio to give you a replacement!

What theme are you using? You might try a different theme. After changing themes, reboot the device by removing the battery.

If you are in a place with weak signal, that also can drain the battery.

The OEM battery was pretty bad as well thats why I got the new one. I am currently using the BB Dimension Zen theme. I just removed the battery and left it out for a bit. I will see how things go now.
