Default How to delete ringtones.

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering how to delete downloaded ringtones and if you can remove preloaded ringtones?? I did a search and could not find a topic on this already. Any help would be really appreciated.

You can not delete the preloaded ringtones.
To delete a ringtone you have added, go into Profiles, click the wheel and select "Show Tunes". Scroll to the ringtone, click the wheel and select "Delete".

To delete a downloaded ringtone:

1. Click the Profiles icon
2. Click the trackwheel
3. Click "Show Tunes"
4. Place the cursor over the downloaded ringtone you want to delete
5. Click the trackwheel
6. Click "Delete"

You won't see the Delete option with the preloaded ringtones, which suggests there's no way to delete them.

Cool, I appreciate you help guys. Man, I am glad I found this forum. I didn't know a lot about what the BB was capable of when I got it. But, this forum and the people on here have been cool and very helpful.

Thanks

There aren't any hacks to delete the preloaded ringtones?

Bump.

I found a way to delete preloaded themes, but I'm stuck on the preloaded ringtones. There's a .cod file called "net_rim_bb_profiles_tunes_tunebundles_tunes8700g. cod" that, I assume, has the preloaded tunes on it, but deleting (or renaming the file) doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

you can't delete the preloaded ones only the ones you have added or downloaded.
